Professional Background
John received his undergraduate degree (1989) in Performing Arts Administration from Rhode Island College. Following graduation, he held management positions in various venues throughout the eastern United States. He then served as a regional Vice President for Broadway Across America (BAA) during which time, he negotiated agreements between management and labor unions (I.A.T.S.E.; A.F.M.; and A.E.A.). After a decade with BAA, he produced, managed, booked and promoted in excess of 100 engagements each year for several prominent producers and tours.
John’s industry relationships are extensive as he remains connected to hundreds of entertainment leaders and executives across various segments of the industry. John also serves as the Executive Director of Touring and Presentations for Right Angle Entertainment (RAE) whose touring projects include live shows in collaboration with FOX TV, Disney and Fremantle.
John received his J.D. from Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law section. John is fluent in Spanish and is proud to say that he is a member of Mensa.
